CELEBRATE HER 45 YEARS IN THE ARTS: 1975-2020

The Women in the Arts and Media Coalition is proud to honor our dear colleague and friend, Martha Richards, with our 2020 Elsa Rael VintAge Award.  Martha has worked as an arts advocate and arts manager for 45 years.  For the past 25 years she has  served as the  Executive Director of WomenArts, a non-profit  that is dedicated to increasing the visibility and opportunities for women in all art forms – especially theatre, film, and video.

Martha and WomenArts have been strong supporters of the Coalition since its inception, and we have been partners in the ongoing struggle for gender parity in the arts.
